The Smart Image Content Research Center at Chung-Ang University, led by Director Jinwan Park (Department of Imaging Science, Graduate School of Advanced Imaging Science, Multimedia & Film), comprises 24 research professors and is actively engaged in academic research and international scholarly exchange.

The Center is dedicated to becoming a global hub for smart-image content research through the convergence of visual arts and technologies. By organizing specialized research teams, it enhances interdisciplinary collaboration and contributes to the globalization and dissemination of Korean Wave content.

To advance this mission, the Center hosts academic conferences, exhibitions, international exchange programs, and large-scale research initiatives. It also regularly publishes two international academic journals—TechArt and MINT—each issued three times a year.
